The Big East conference is adding two more schools into their already large conference. Tulane, who will join in all sports and East Carolina, football only, are both leaving Conference USA to join the Big East.
Not sure what the positives are, other than these schools are actually somewhat in the east unlike Boise State and San Diego State, who might be on the way out of the Big East before they were even ever in.
This looks part desperation move, part cover up and with a dash of Conference USA 2.0

This will continue to get more interesting as time goes on. And more and more teams are added and dropped.
